DMCA & Copyright Policy

TryFormatter respects the intellectual property rights of creators, developers, authors, and organizations. We expect all users of our platform to comply with applicable copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Unless otherwise noted, all original website source code, branding assets, software designs, UI components, logos, and original editorial content are owned by TryFormatter and founder Vinod Kumar.

TryFormatter operates on a browser-first architecture. Most tools—including code formatters, image converters, PDF processors, data tools, and calculators—process your files and text locally within your web browser memory.

Because tool data processes on your local device and is not saved to server databases or remote storage buckets, TryFormatter does not host or store user-uploaded copyrighted materials on remote servers for standard tools.

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent acting on behalf of a copyright owner and believe that content available on TryFormatter infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated copyright agent.

To ensure your request is processed rapidly, your DMCA notice must meet the statutory requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

Your written DMCA Takedown Notice must include the following details:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are covered).

2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, including specific URLs or web page locations.

3. Your contact information, including your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

6. Your physical or electronic signature.

If you believe that material you submitted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Your counter-notification must contain your contact details, identification of the material removed, a statement under penalty of perjury regarding good faith belief, and your physical or electronic signature.

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, TryFormatter maintains a policy to restrict or terminate access to users who are determined to be repeat infringers or who repeatedly violate intellectual property rights.
