Security Baseline Overview
1. Browser-First Security Architecture
TryFormatter is designed around client-side processing for supported productivity utilities. Code formatters, image converters, PDF tools, data parsers, and calculators execute locally within your web browser using modern Web APIs, Canvas, and WebAssembly.
Because processing happens on your local device, your text, images, and proprietary code are not uploaded to remote application servers or stored in cloud databases for standard tools. This fundamentally eliminates server-side data breach risks for local tool operations.
2. HTTPS Encryption & Transport Security
All traffic to TryFormatter is enforced over Secure HTTP (HTTPS) using TLS encryption.
HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) and modern cryptographic suites ensure that data transmitted between your browser and our edge hosting network remains encrypted and protected against man-in-the-middle inspection or tampering.
3. Data Minimization & Isolation
We strictly adhere to data minimization principles across all web features:
• Zero Account Requirements: Standard tools require no user registration, password creation, or personal identification.
• No Persistent Input Storage: Input data resides temporarily in browser memory and is discarded when you clear or close the browser tab.
• Isolated Edge Requests: Tools that interact with external web resources (such as URL fetchers or SEO diagnostic tools) process only the minimum payload necessary to complete your specific request.

We take platform security seriously and welcome reports from security researchers, developers, and users regarding potential vulnerabilities or security flaws in our platform.
